Tree Day!

The weather was great today (read No rain!), so we decided to head out to the country and find ourselves a tree to put in the house. We ended up at a local tree farm (same place we got our pumpkins) and proceeded with the long and arduous journey of finding the perfect Christmas tree. The farm also had some added attractions for the kids for a family affair. Well we are just about ready for the Canady Family visit. Nana, Papa, Great Grandma and Great Aunt Shirley will be visiting this year for Christmas. Hope they like the tree!

"Hmm, which way do I go here, jeez these hay mazes are so confusing!"

Just hanging out looking for the perfect tree
(that likely wont fit in our house and my husband has to carry)
This is the one? Doesnt look that big....Ryan can cut this down and carry it, and set it up no problem....

The cutting of the tree!

Hmm this didnt look that big when it was in the ground...pushing 8' with this one!
Good thing we have vaulted ceilings!

We decided to convert to LED lights this year and that included the ones for the tree, we like'em.

Here is the tree all decorated and ready for presents (that all depends on the boys and the naughty and nice list)
